Hows it goin folks.I have a Powerbook G4 that just got its first taste of vodka and coke down into the keys. The laptop itself died instantly.Thankfully came back to life after a few days.I notice that the screen keeps dimming and then brightens every few seconds.I know the battery might be ****ed but could there be something else thats ****ed that i might need to replace. It only happens when the laptop is plugged in.And now that i think of it Mac OSX shut down today and i had to restart computer.Never happened b4:eek::eek::eek:

you could bring it into the macshop in merrion square - they were very helpful in testing to see if it was my battery or the charing that was gone when tea was spilt on me laptop

kinda expensive for parts, mght end up being only slightly dearer for a referb macbook

It is in Dublin unless there is a The Mac Shop on a Merrion Square in Cork as well as Dublin :)

You could try Stream Solutions, They are in Wilton, 021 4344455; I am sure there are a few other repair options that side of town. Be warned, parts for Powerbooks are getting scarce so it may be a lost cause :(
