OK, this is inspired not only by threads here on boards, but also from various other threads on other forums. So its time we get our own! Post a picture of your desk/workspace or wherever you use your mac and show it off! Try to list what everything is so discussing setups is easier.

I would go first, but my old desk is dismantled and im waiting to get my new one this weekend. Should have everything back together by Saturday evening so i'll post up then.

So go for it! Let's see what we all got?

I thought i'd get the ball rolling on this thread. 13 inch 2.26ghz macbook pro with 128gb ssd. Apple led cinema display. Apple keyboard and mouse. Macbook pro is sitting on a rain design mStand. Iphone 3g is sitting on the desk also. 640gb western digital hard drive is behind the cinema display. A moshi keyboard protector is on the pro also. Portability and a nice sized screen, i really love this setup.

That's a very nice setup! How is the mStand actually? I am really considering one and seeing it in pictures make me want it more! Did you buy it from the Irish Apple online store? it's a little expensive compared to the US but sure i guess i should be used to that by now!

Also is Tiger Woods for the Mac? What's it like?

    Those Apple Displays are savage!

I bought the mStand through amazon. As you said apple store is way too expensive. It's a great stand. I had the Griffin Elevator before that but i was always worried about my previous macbook air slipping off while i was out. There is no chance of that with the mStand. Forgot to mention aswell that i have an elgato eyetv connected to usb port on back of cinema display. Led display is used as a tv in my room also.

Tiger woods is indeed for the mac. Brilliant game and surprisingly works very well with the large trackpad instead of a mouse. It helps relieve a bit of boredom when traveling. I must say aswell that the battery life on this machine is unbelievable. I got 8 hours 8 minutes today just with light web surfing and the screen at half brightness. The power cord will be staying at a home alot when i head back to ucd in september.

I thought it was about time this thread had a revival :)

Got a new desk, got rid of my Thunderbolt Display and TV and replaced them with an Asus PB278Q. The xbox also moves to the drawer to the right which has holes for breathing along with a fan attachmebt on the xbox

    Pictured (left to right):

    iPad Mini (16GB)
    Audioengine A2
Elevation Dock for iPhone 5 (taking the photos)
    Asus PB278Q (27", 2560x440)
    rMBP (2.6Ghz, 16GB, 512GB

    The Desk

    Ikea Vika Byske Tabletop
    Ikea Vika Alex Drawer Units

    Not pictured
    Xbox 360 S
Airport Express (sends music to the A2s aswell as extending my WiFi)
    Netgear Ethernet Switch
    Astro A50 Gaming Headset

Needless to say I love the fact that nothing that has to be on the desk is hidden away but still usable! The desk itself it brilliant, huge amount of storage & it looks great! I really like the solidity of the hardwood desk top as opposed to the fiberboard you usually get at Ikea

How does the Asus PB278Q (27", 2560x440) compare to the Apple Cinema Display?

You should get the Audioengine DAC for those speakers.

The PBQ Monitor is great, its about 400 cheaper than the TBD, same resolution, both LG A+ monitors, with the added bones that it has a HDMI input for other devices. Its not as seamless to integrate with the MBP, but it does the job. I found it tough to get the full 2560x1440 resolution with it at first, but a MiniDisplayport to Displayport cable does the trick. Overall I'm very happy with it.

I was definitely thinking about getting that DAC, especially around the time I bought the speakers, but I may wait until I can find a decent USB hub that can charge my iPhone, iPad and connect to other peripherals like the DAC. But I was considering the DS1 yes.
