5 a side competition this weekend - teams needed

    Lads, this is on saturday morning. they need some teams. me, dan, art and Mick will be on one team, we won this out last year. anbody interested? doesnt have to be a boardeux team, but im sure we can. imagine us v you lot in the final :)
    also, if anybody plays 5-a side with friends, feel free to enter your own team. good cause and was a great day out last year.
    Accenture Charity 5-A-Side Soccer Tournament In aid of the Irish Heart Foundation


    Following on from last year's highly enjoyable day out we will once
    again be hosting this years 5-a-side tournament in UCD on June
    13th. We hope to make this year's event much bigger, by hosting more teams while also raising as much money as possible for The Irish Heart Foundation.

    What Does the Irish Heart Foundation Do?
    The Irish Heart Foundation is Ireland's only national charity for heart health and is working to reduce premature death and disability from heart disease and stroke.

    The Irish Heart Foundation:

    * Provides information on heart health to the public and media
    * Supports patients in managing heart disease and stroke
    * Provides heart health programmes in schools and
    workplaces
    * Co-ordinates the training of medics and the public in emergency lifesaving skills (CPR)
    * Supports research, education and development in the medical
    profession
    * Advocates better patient treatment and services

    This tournament is open to all Accenture employee's, family and friends.Feel free to ask family and friends to join in to help make up a team to take part in the tournament.

    The goal of the day is to raise as much money as possible and have some
    Fun while doing it!
    - 20 teams consisting of 7+ players per squad, 5 players per
    team on the pitch at a time.
    - Saturday June 13th, 11am - 3pm
    - There will be total of 47 games played (40 during group stage,
    4 games (Quarter final stage), 2 games (semi final stage)and the final.
    - All games will be played in UCD on Astro Turf Courts 1 - 4
    - Refreshments will be available during the games.
    - Prizes for the winning team

    Each team must have

    - Minimum 7 players (male or female)
    - EUR20 per player (Goes towards Charity, Pitch Hire, Refreshments, necessary game accessories)

    Registering a team
    Teams can be registered in two ways:

    1. Captain of each team to reply to [email]ronan.d.byrne@accenture.com<mailto:ronan.d.byrne@accenture.com[/email]> or
    [email]niall.kirk@accenture.com<mailto:niall.kirk@accenture.com[/email]>
    with names of 7+ players on your team and your team name.

    1. If you are happy to play but don't have a team, because you may be
    unassigned or on holiday etc, simply reply to this mail and we'll put
    you on a team if a team is short of players.

    2. There will be no soft bookings or registrations of teams without
    the full list of 7+ names.

    Miscellaneous
    - Game rules including dress code will be sent out later on
    - Extra donations from projects or people that want to donate but
    cannot play are very welcome, if you wish to help in this way please
    state this in your email
