Anyone interested in trying to make some really simple, old-fashioned pop/rock/folk songs like the Loovin Spoonful or other great bands of that era? Totally pre- punk and pre- synthisiser and pre- 4 minutes long.

    Dublin area or east- midlands!

    well yeah I'm listening.

I'm a guitarist putting together a set that defies all the modern radio 3 min shot/ Simon Cowel regulations in favour of death defying guitar solo loving pink floyd/ led zep fan solos.

I figure there's got to be more out there that want to hear modern day Stairway to Heaven-esque solos.
Lots of bands doing a great job like the Chilli's etc but an Irish edition would do us justice.

    I'm in Ballyer/ Dublin west.

    So...?
