I've cloned my 80GB drive to new 250GB drive using Maxblaster and went perfect, I now have 2 working drives....the new drive is working as stand alone master drive but my problem is when I connect my old 40GB slave drive it won't boot into windows? I get error message reboot and select boot device..any ideas

First thing I would do is check the bios to see if your set to boot from the corect drive. If thats alright, check the label on the drive itself for master, slave jumper settings.

sounds like both drives are set as master.

if you were to plug into the 40gb while unplugging the 250gb, it should boot the old disc. if it does, check the master/slave pins

The new drive which is now my "C" drive was cloned as "F" slave drive and now booting up as Primary slave not master....it's not that big a deal as it works perfect just I've a few files on the 40gig drive that I need access to
