I bought a Parkside Belt Sander 900W in Lidl a few weeks ago. There is a dust extractor attachment which worked brilliantly until I changed the sanding belt for the first time. My sister bought the same type sander the same day so I borrowed hers and the same thing happened again - the dust extractor worked fine until I replaced the sanding belt for the first time. After replacing the belt the dust just blew out from the back and onto the floor. Has anybody any ideas why this might have happened? Only one sanding belt was supplied with the new sander - I bought the replacement ones (with the exact same dimensions) in Homebase and I was assured by the assistant there that they would work in the Lidl sander.
