thats not the Sun's fault is it.

Nah, but I'd love a dry climate with definable, predictable seasons.

A guaranteed cold winter, mild spring and warm summer.

yes. Going around with just a pair of shorts even in the night feels so natural...

when i feel that the irish weather sucks i look at other cities with the same kind of crappy weather and it makes me feel better, i.e amsterdam :)

I wear shorts nearly all year round, because personally it doesnt to me seem to rain much in winter even though statistics say otherwise.

It's too warm now, according to half my workplace.

    F*cking Irish.

but still, a person can take their litter home with them.

Would absolutely hate it if we had hot sunny weather 365 days of the year. Before we even start talking about sweaty crotches there's the little matter of Pighead not being able to wear his duffel coat and cardigans. Doesn't bear thinking about. Imagine how dull our wardrobes would be if this came to pass. Sandals, shorts, t-shirts and those crappy ankle sock yolks that look ridiculous. No long johns, no jumpers, no fleece, no beanie type hats, no duffels, no gloves, no vests, no flannel trousers, basically no style.

Read up on Sky News awhile ago where it would be predicted that in 2080 England could be having temperatures of up to 41*C :o

Have to agree with Stovelid on this one, Definable Seasons FTW !!!

I don't understand people complaining about good weather in Ireland! Over here (south of France), it's great weather most of the time and instead of sittin in a smelly pub after work, we go to the beach and have a barbeque and drinks. (But the beaches are cleaner here).

what places have defineable seasons? most of germany? poland? north east usa?

I know! :) But I've heard a lot of people (not just on boards) whining about the good ("too hot") weather over there, god I would have killed for a nice bit of sunny weather last summer in Ireland...

Definitely wish the weather was like this all the time. Puts people in a better mood aswell and makes it easier to get up in the morning!! Nothing worse than getting up at the crack of dawn for college/work and its spilling rain and cold and windy out!!!

How about getting up at the crack of dawn for college/work and it's spilling rain and cold and windy out AND your dog has done a wee wee on your face at some stage during the night?
Or getting up at the crack of dawn for college/work and it's spilling rain and cold and windy out AND you live in Afghanistan where a military air strike from the Americans has just begun. Surely both of those scenarios are worse than yours?

jasus it's not even warm out!!! Was freezing on the bike this morning, that wind has a chill in it. If there was weather like we had at the long weekend for at least a few weeks every summer I'd be happy, but this stuff outside is not good weather in my opinion.

yeah in dublin anyway its not that good out, yesterday was class tho

Hate warm weather. Sweating, sun burn, headaches, insects everywhere. Miserable.

I don't see how anyone can enjoy it. It's just uncomfortable.

Yeah but in Ireland those women would be 20 stone each trying to convince themselves they look good.

Hot women never dress in skimpy stuff over here, it's only the heifers that do it.
