How much cash do you think I will need on my person when traveling?
I'm moving to Canada for a year but I have my credit cards and my ATM is cirrus enabled. So I wasn't planning on bringing all that much cold hard cash with me per say. Planning to open a bank account asap and transferring a lump sum into it (I'm with Rabo Direct and AIB Online)
But I read somewhere that I need to have X amount of cash when I go through immigration in Toronto to prove I wont be leeching off the state or whatever...but I will be hostelling it for the guts of the summer and didnt want loadsa cash on me...

    What do you reckon?
