anyone else a fan? just saw a new video of hers and it reminded me of why i like her so much! though judging by the number of people who've watch the clip i get the feeling she doesn't have too many fans these days :-(

Great voice, but the last record wasn't very good at all

true...the last album wasnt so great...though it did grow on me (hard to top her first two...which were excellent, especially "night on my side"). though this new EP she just came out with is kind of nice.

She's really very nice, is Gemma. Love her voice.
Met her briefly after a Tower in-store once, the topic of conversation being 'isn't Kevin Shields just brilliant?', totally forgot to mention to her that we both went to the same middle-of-nowhere secondary school in Limerick.I'm fully convinced that if I'd remembered we'd have had a brilliant chat and would be the best of friends right now.

She is nice. Which is, oddly, a rarity among Irish indie types for some unknown reason.

First album was brilliant, subsequent offerings were too polished for my liking and didn't put her voice to good use.

really like the first album, still give it a listen now and then.
seems to have lost the 'edginess' over her latter stuff but i'd still give any new stuff a listen as i wouldn't be overly surprised if she churned out something really worthwhile.
    quite the looker mind

I'd throw it into her, if she puts the guitar away.

Great debut album. Kinda fell away after that. She's very talented though, and good live.
