Tarmac Contractor

Hi There,

I had a lad calling to the house the other day and he offered me a really good price to tarmac my driveway. He says he is from **************Tarmac, which are based in Kildare but is travelling around the country to get work as it is scarce. I am just wondering if anyone might be able to advise me on this company or if they know of or had themselves got work done by this contractor? I would really appreciate any info you might have. Loads of these scams on at the mo, using a known/legitimate name as a front.

Know nothing about the named company but what typically happens in these scams is that the stuff is put down, very poor job, then their 'friends' call and tell u that that is a crap job etc etc/ needs cleaning/redoing/etc.

All the time you gaff and neighbouring gaffs are being 'scoped'

Any word on these since, just googled them today and this post came up, they were around our area the last day with a flyer!
