Amplitube in Ableton Live 8

I can't get Amplitube 2 to show up in ableton Live 8, I assume it should be in the plug in area, it's in my vst folder and other plug ins work fine. Any idea how to sort this out? Cheers

Just Browse to the Folder and make sure the .DLL file is in there, sometimes it can install into a sub folder so just copy and paste the .DLL into the VST folder and it should appear?!?

Maybe try Live-Preferences-File folder-rescan plug ins.

Tried both but no joy. Can't see any reason for it not working, I can start amplitube on it's own no problem so it's installed ok.

So you can see the dll in the folder ya?

and it finds it in the rescan?

then just doesnt show?

The rescan doesn't find anything new, the dll files are there, the right folder is selected, I've tried rescanning and restarting but nothing works.
