Finally think I am getting somewhere with this game after many years of half hearted attempts, starting to average 30-34 points with a self esimated handicap of 18. I am going to push on a get a proper GUI somewhere in the next week or two and see how that goes, but what i have learned is there are no quick fixes, magic clubs, free tuitorials or secret short cuts. its all about getting out as regular as possible, the odd lesson, practice and not taking it all to heart when it goes off the rails. I suppose therein lies the enjoyment too.

Best of luck to you. If you want to see your game improve, you should consider building a bay out the back of your house. I got the materials, my mate built me a frame from galvanised steel, on which I mounted a decking platform. I left an area in the middle for the mat, few stakes in the ground with some nets hanging off them and voila.
I have two young kids, and love the game but was finding the last two years I may have to give it up. So I sacrificed my time on the course and built the bay for myself.
What you're looking for in your game is repitition in the swing. Going to course is great and seeing your game at work there. But if you want to work on certain aspects of your game like ball position, alignment, swing plane etc., but like me are caught for time during the week to develop a swing you can rely on, you should consider building a driving bay. The timber I got from Woodies, the nets from a guy in Kilmore Quay in Wexford and the mat from a Golf Supply company in UK. Excellent value. All the best again.

What you're looking for in your game is repitition in the swing.
    Practice makes permanent, nothing else.
You could be grooving in a fantastic duck hook and not realise it in a net. You need to see the trajectory of the ball and its ball flight to have any idea of where its going.
Not saying that a net doesnt have its place, but going exclusively from a net to the course would not be a fun experience imo.
