I have a question, it actually sounds stupid but i dont know the answer myself hense the reason i am posting.

I cancelled Sky and i'm thinking of getting it back because Skyplus would be handy to record, i was looking at Sky multiroom for downstairs and upstairs, i still have the the old Sky box upstairs.

My question is if i got Skyplus downstairs can i still connect the old Sky box upstairs and only get charged for the one connection downstairs, now i know i wont have Skyplus upstairs would it work? I currently have NTL digital down/upstairs.

    Thanks

The answer to your question is if you leave your old skybox upstairs with no card and get skyplus installed downstairs with a new card...you will only be charged for one connection..

You could take your card out each nite and bring it upstairs to get all the channels apart from movies or sports etc...however I am not sure if it will still work with the new cards sky are currently sending out...

I forgot about the Sky card altogether, no chance it would work without a second one. I was thinking the way NTL connection worked and the way i have it currently setup.

    Thanks for the reply

No you will need a second card to see all the channels upstairs, without a card you would get all the FTA channels...
