Surely this has finally forced the issue and while the poker sites seem to be taking the hit on this round of freezes they surely can't continue doing business in the U.S. ?

Stars and Tilt have grown and grown over the past couple of years.

If (I assume) only a small percentage of US related deposits are held by any given payment processor and the rest are in a place where the US can't easily get at them, then the benefits of having US customers will continue to outweigh the odd minor mulitimillion dollar hiccup.

What "processors", sites etc are actually affected.
    Any cause for concern here?

    I dont think so, I've very little on there but my account is on self exclusion for a little while and i dropped them a email, reply;

    Thank you for your email.

As you know, Bank of America is an independent, publicly held company
and we are unable to speak for or comment on Bank of America's
internal policies. PokerStars is owned and operated by a legal entity
located in the Isle Of Man (a crown dependency of the United Kingdom)
and we pride ourselves on abiding by all relevant laws and
    regulations.

We would like to reassure you that all funds held with PokerStars are
completely secure. Player deposits are held in a separate bank
account so that they remain completely isolated from all other aspects
    of the business.

PokerStars uses a number of processors and a variety of methods for
players to cash out their funds. You can be assured that your money
is always safe in your PokerStars account, and you will always have
    access to your funds.

If there is anything else we can help you with, please let us know.

    Best regards

    Andrew

I never mention bank of america so it must be something to do with them

Kind of odd that they mention Bank of America - it's not one of the three banks listed. I suppose that's a side-issue though. Either way, no fear there.

Imagine the amount of interest stars make on their deposits of players funds.

Bank of america cards haven't been allowed to deposit on PS for a long time now, 18-24 months ago I tried to use my BoA card on PS and it was refused.

have to laugh at FTP support sometimes,
I send both pokerstars and FTP the same email at the same time and have only this morning gotten a reply from FTP

Pretty much the same reply anyway
