dont know if this is the right thread if not can someone advise me of a better one?
I am looking to replace a set of suspension units on a car transporter, they are the independant type and I need two braked and two unbraked. the biggest problem I have is NO ONE in Ireland seems to supply these  and getting em shipped from UK is a bit pricey.
So to sum up does anyone know if I can actually get them in Ireland even a good set of used ones may do,
    thanks :)

a friend of mine who makes dog trailers and builders trailers etc... used to by indapendant axels in Clara market. That was about a year ago, not even sure if it is still on, think there used to be a guy selling all sorts of trailer stuff there. Thats all I know on the matter though

Dooley bros in Kilkenny do Avonride units (same type of rubber block as indepension) I've had them for years and they travel better than the leaf springs on an Ifor Williams (which I have as well). Would you not consider using 4 brakes rather than 2 when you are at it?

thanks Humding, will give em a try.
just thought two would do fine, are all it ever had and never gave any trouble.
