sky + recording problem

    hi,have sky plus with a few weeks worked fine until today.when i record a programme on a channel,when i flick to any other channel i am getting the blue screen- no satilite signal being recieved.any ideas?thanks

    I had that problem before, there are two input cables at the back of the box and one of the cables wasnt connected so everytime I recorded something i got the blue screen when I tried to change channels. Check the two cables at the back that they are both connected from the box to the satellite dish.

    i think one of ur cables has come out from sky box,it should have 2 into the back,had same thing happen to me,hope this helps

    cheers lads,but both cables are connected ok(took them out and reconnected them) and had a look at the dish and both look to be connected.i took out the cable in input 2 which was the old normal sky cable (just got upgraded 2 weeks ago to plus )and didnt lose reception so this cable must be faaulty somewhere.
