hey, as my ongoing rant about my ball of dung celica i went to get the cat replaced this morning only to come back and find out that the one he ordered to be fitted was slightly too big for fitting, the nct is tomorrow and the person in the shop cant think of another soloution in a short space of time except to maybe weld a bit off the pipe under my car and then fit the new cat, my question is, would a bigger cat on a car have advantages or disadvantages when it comes to emmision testing in the nct?:D

TBH I have no idea, but you know I was thinking it might be an idea to get all your Celica threads merged! ;)

Your not having any luck with this car at all man! Had one of them years ago, '94 too IIRC, never a days bother! Well that's just the way she goes sometimes..........

i guess im just unlucky, but the worse part i find about it is the fact that finding parts is so hard for the car, if ya take it that back in 1994 in the celica range was - 1.8, 2.0 gt, gt4, st 202, ss1 ss2 ss3 , finding second hand parts is definatly hard, even first hand ones are seeming hard to match
