    Hi

The place I work in is closing for 3 months and then re-opening, what way will this work for claiming? I am not in the job long but before this I was in the army for 3 and half years so I assume I have the credits I need. What benifit will I be entitled to and how long would it take before I started recieving it? The place is closing in October so would I be able to register weeks before this so that I got my payment once I was out of work.

You cannot make your claim until the day after you finish work. The waiting time in every office is different, there is no set amount of time that anyone can say you will be waiting unfortunately.

What benifit will i be entitled to as I will not actually be a job seeker or do it not matter?

    you'll get jobseekers benefit.

Technically, to receive Jobseeker's Benefit, you must be a Jobseeker. If you complete the form and state you are not looking for work, they will more than likely disallow your claim.
