    Erm, wasn't there close on 2400 on the Wicklow jaunt there the other day? How come that didn't qualify as a record? And sure some sportives e.g marmotte have WAAAY more. 2284 sounds like a rediculously low number to have as the record.

    Something like 16-20,000 did the Tour of Flanders, that was a sight!

    Is it just people standing around with bikes that qualifies as opposed to doing a route?

    ... 1 thing to remember is ... not to go through the park when I cycle back home from the boards night out if it's already morning ... or if I do, make sure I have a can of paint to spray obcene drawings on Chesterfiled avenue

    I was just thinking, if the record is broken we should organise that all the boardsies bring all of their bikes in the afternoon, just so we can break that one too.:D
