Silent Diesel Generator Advice

Can anyone recommend a good quiet diesel generator that would run lights/TV/kettle etc for a Mobile Home.

I've had the lend of quiet petrol models but they can cost about €10 a day to run.

No, only for about 2 hours in the evening.
The gas for water heating & cooking.
Have got used to UHT milk so no fridge requirement.

Anyone know where to source one.
I might try eBay.

All the diesel gennies I've seen so far were big, heavy and EXPENSIVE

You could look for a propane powered generator? A diesel would definately be cheaper to run than the petrol but they are bulkier.

You should get yourself a gas powered fridge. They are very efficient.

we have a honda 10i generator. i know camping crazy in new ross were selling the 20i for about €1000 which is a great price but not sure if the deal is still on. we use our gennie for winter camping, costs approx €5 possibly less to run it all day. for that i would have a small christmas tree, kettle and sky box plus it obviously charges the battery as well. very quiet compact and easy to store
