Am hitting south america, was looking at the TMB website there, and for all south america countries it says you should get HEP B if you are trekking. Now i cant see myself doing many treks, prob just the inca trail, should i bother getting it?

Ive been to thailand(did a jungle trek in chiang mai aswel) and buenos aires and rio, and they didnt require me to get HEP B, so it is essential? Im goin in 3 weeks and there is 3 courses for this injection so dont even know if i would have the time to get it done, anyone any ideas?

If TMB recommends it, I personally would get it.

I would say you are probably too late though.

As far as i know Hep B is a course of 3 injections. So you may be too late to get them.

Only yellow fever is required for certain places, most of the rest are recommended!
