A base Inspiron 15 or a Studio 15?

Which is the best here, is there mus hdifference between them apart from the screens which seems to be the distinguishing feature? And the studio has a subwoofer and surround sound apparently.
So basically its a choice between a media system and a general purpose system?

Depends on what you want use for, personally I'd get the Studio.
It has double the RAM of the Inspiron which I would recommend, the processor is probably a bit better (they appear same but the Pentium would be faster by a bit). Also the studio is nicer overall and comes with higher capacity battery.

If you want to save €80 go with the Inspiron, but I'd add the 2048M RAM and 6 cell battery, problem is no dual core but tbh I wouldn't worry if all you have is one apllication open at a time and is only for word processing, excel etc. €468

Or go with the Studio which has these already for €548 and dual core, only needed if you run a few apps at once. The studio is nice i Have Studio 17 well built, nice finish but shows u finger prints on that silver body!!:D

Choice is yours,

BTW neither will run games, the studio will if you add in the Graphics card for €100 (256mb), don't get the €150 one, you won't see a difference.
