Lads,
A mate of mine is looking for a bike for spinning around after a long term injury. What do you think of this bike? The Barracuda is a good brand from what we hear.

Is that a good price?

What kind of injury is he coming back from?

What kind of cycling would he be looking to do? How tall is he? 53cm frame is pretty small.

It's a lot of money (£250 delivered), personally I wouldn't go near it. The spec is low even for an entry level road bike and there is no mention that I can see of whether it comes assembled or not.

I think he is better off going to a local bike shop and getting fitted properly for something like a Giant Defy, or maybe even a hybrid.

Need to know more details before offering more advice.

Wouldn't go near it:
No indication of gear ratios or component level
Only QR front wheel - means you need to carry a bloody pair of spanners when out cycling to change a rear puncture
and besides the specs don't match the pictures:
Downtube shifters - no, there appears to be some sort of monstosity on the handlebars.
Quill type stem - No, looks like an ahead type to me
Seatpost black - no, silver.
