The only reason for Blackpool's existence these days is to provide for this sort of thing. They're very well equipped for large groups both for serious drinking sessions, funfairs and casinos - any means to extract every penny from you. The police will not tolerate anti-social behaviour, but I'm sure your group will not fall foul of them. Beware of Glaswegians who descend on the place during their summer holidays and drink the place dry.
Go, and have a good time.

all the main clubs and bars in blackpool are between the tower and the north pier, there is tonnes of places to go, though drink will be a bit more expensive in this area compared to bars/pubs closer to the south pier

Think Butlin's without the perimeter fence. And nothing being included in the price.

Its awful man ,very retro looking. I can't describe how bad the place looks .So tacky looking.

Can't really remeber the pubs or clubs really though .I think there is a few good ones.
What about edinburgh ?.Police all over the place once the pubs shut .They were pretty dead on though.

Ive never been to Blackpool, but can I throw in Edinburgh as an alternative to think about! Wicked city, has everything you want and sure a bit of culture in there too, if you have a quiet nerd in the stag party :-p

just back from a stag in edinburgh myself and it's a great spot -
the grassmarket area is stag friendly and the three sisters bar in cowgate is a mecca for stags and hens !
we had a ball - check out castle apartments on the royal mile good central spot or try the apex hotel which is in the grassmarket area itself
    enjoy

    Hey guys

Looking to get an update on this. Looking at Blackpool at the end of June for my Stag so just wondering what peoples thoughts are. Was looking at Cardiff originally but was informed that might be a little rough. Prob 12 - 15 going on this one

    Any advice greatly appreciated
    Darren

I wouldn't go there ,went there for a night with workpals. Its pretty retro and uninteresting . Also the sheer amount of police after the niteclubs is mindblowing.

Been there, england as a rule can be rough , liverpool and newcastle the same . Cardiff is good could be rough but only if youre looking for trouble.

blackpool blackpool every time,no better place for stag /hen parties you will never be fed up with the different clubs and pubs always some sort of entertainment going on,i should know as i live in the area, also you can fly into blackpool from dublin, and the airport is only five minutes from south pier
