The Banshee has been all over the TV/Radio for the last 24 hours.

How Tipp South elected him is beyond me.

Heard him this morning. He really is a witless cretin of the highest order.

Yeah, he talks so much **** he fudges every issue to the point where you're not sure what the point is any more.

His shrieking interruptions of Reilly today were funny. Pathetic but funny.

Mansergh always seems to get rolled out at bad times like this. I suspect he was the only FFer willing to face Vincent Browne last night.

Sure isn't he the one they rolled out to excuse the €200,000 refurbishment of an office for a certain disgraced / out-of-favour (delete as appropriate depending on your level of FF support) former FF Taoiseach ?

"He is very well thought about in his field"

What movie is that a quote from.:P

    Deliverance.

    You are correct Sir.

Always reminds me of Martin who comes across as a bit of a buffoon ,but in reality is very well educated and respected in his field.. French History ,if I remember correctly.

(I think Burt suggested to Jon Voight that he take "that chubby boy" with him on the canoe today, and evoked that response)

    I could be wrong.

Saw him on Tonight with Vincent Browne and he really reminds me of the actor Derek Jacobi in the lead role on the '70s BBC tv series "I, Claudius"!

A west brit and gay? A double whammy that didn't stop him getting elected in South Tipp, which is clearly more progressive than hitherto belived. :pac:

Could be worse, they could of elected Michael Lowry like they did in North Tipp.

Voters frighten me sometimes when they elect people like this!

Cribbing about the tone of his voice?

He was involved in the Peace Process from the get go.

He is a first term Td.

When you consider that Enda Kenny has been in the Dail for 40 years with few political achievements.

Enda Kenny doesnt squeal like a girl when talked down

When you listen to Martin it sounds like he is having a multiple orgasm epidemic that he just can't stop!eek.gif

Martin bugs Me as well when he gets high pitched in tone of voice,Anybody who doubts his commitment to the peace progress, his integrity as a human being,or his ability to see beyond the shallow Catholic/Protestant divide in this Country is doing him a very big disservice,The fact that he is protestant but also a commited and heavily involved himself(at risk to his own wellbeing) in the process seems to be unknown by a lot of posters here.A coward He is not!

Funny you say that, he reminded me of Derek Jacobi when he played Alan Turning with the loud "AH-AH-AH" stammer.

I thought he was an actual Brit?

...as for having ghey, sorry, the needle just went off the incredulity meter there. Couldn't imagine him popping down from Kildare Street to the George after a late session to take in the Slave Auction.
