    Current set up.
VHF/UHF combined at aerial--> Sky plus Aerial In
Sky plus RF1 out --> Aerial in (2nd sky box in attic)
RF2 out (2nd box)---> UHF input of distribution amp
    http://www.vanjak.com/product_details.php?category_id=504&item_id=2037

Main tv is fine. 4 analogue channels and sky plus
all other tvs should have 4 analogue and 2 sky boxes with control of attic box.

My problem is that the distribution amp above is not letting the vhf through.
Is there a suitable amp out there for passing VHF/UHF and also pass eye power?

Would it work to get a dist amp with a seperate VHF and UHF input and just split the downlead from the aerial for each input ?

    Cheer's

The specification says it DOES handle VHF so maybe you haven't used the correct decombiner plate? It will be marked TV + Radio. Use Radio for VHF.

It's in the right connector alright. The frequency range of the VHF input is limited to 210.5 --> 230 MHZ. (Mainly for DAB I think)
This is too high a band for maghera vhf channels. (RTE1 = 182-190 MHz) (NET2 = 206-214 MHz)
Found this one on the Farnell website:
    http://www.antiference.tv/mains-powered-amplifiers-0
Will return original one and try this one..

Use a Global F180 Amplifer also available from Vanjak...very reliable piece of kit or an F280 if u need more than 8 connections..
