Ok im not a boy racer i drive a Ford Ka van and love it but i also like adding things to it.

So far i've put in remote central locking and also fitted a boot relese.
    New radio and speakers
Boot light and boot door ground switch

has anyone else done anything interesting??

I would like to have it so that there is a beep or the lights work when i operate the central locking but not sure where to get a unit that makes this beep.

Also thinking of adding a fog horn

    Fog Horn?!?

    On a Ka?!?:confused::eek::confused:

Don't do it. Colour code the outside and get a nice set of Ford alloys on the cheap and thats about all you can do. Maybe a decent stereo but cant think of much else without going boy racery

Is there any sort of 'signal wire' with the central locking kit I'd imagine you'll have to splice a relay or soemthing to that effect I'm sure there's plenty of info on the net if you look. Can't really help you there.

I can help you with the aftermarket horn. I fitted a Stebel Nautilus its a small enough horn and its not too expensive (30euro or so). I got one as my stock horn was a bit weedy and this puts out 139db if I remember correctly.

I decide to splice my factory horn as theres a second or so delay on the Nautilus possible due to the second relay, so I have the factory and the Stebel running at the same time and its loud!

The Kit comes with a relay but no wires so you'll need to get a few bits:

Thick gauge wire (tells you what gauge you need on the instructions)
    Thin Gauge.
2 O ring connectors to get power off battery
    Some spade connectors
1 Scotch tap (to tap the existing horn wire [beside factory horn)
    Heat shrink

Chrimp /solder (or both) the above and heat shrink eat connector on the relay and opposite end and wrap up the relay in a few coats of electrical tape and it should be good to go. Sounds complicated but I done it in under an hour.

All the wire and connectors you can get in Halfords or any motor factors.

As you'll see its pretty loud

When I first saw this video I strongly considered getting an air horn:
