Claiming dole during summer holidays

Hello! I have just completed the first year of my 3 year course at a private 3rd level college (which i have paid for myself by working the previous summer full time).
I was planning on doing the same this year but cannot get a job and am now getting desperate as:
-by thursday I will have no money whatsoever to live on
-I won't be able to pay my third level fee for the coming year (7,000 euro).
I am 22 years old and live with my parents who, aside from letting me sleep in the house and giving me my 2 meals a day, don't give me a cent.
Is there anyway I can claim some type of benefit off the dole? I have checked the welfare.ie page which says "the legislation also provides that a person shall be disqualified from receipt of Jobseeker's Allowance while attending a course of study (including school/college holiday periods)".
Is there any way around this? I don't mean people to feel sorry for me-I know I am getting my lodging and food for free but I don't even have money for basic things like deoderant and razor blades!
I also have to pay for my own medication (70 euro per month) and have to see a psychiatrist every 2 months which is 115 euro a session, as I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder two years ago. There is no way in hell I can afford this anymore. I'm absolutely terrified of what kind of loony I'll turn in to when my medication runs out!
I am not just looking for free money to go out and get pissed, I don't even drink because of my crappy illness.
So back to the orginal question! Apologies, it's all gotten a bit Dr Phil!! Is there any way I can get some kind of small handout off the government??? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks a million guys.

I seriously doubt it mate, the dole is means tested these days and with you living at home with both parents. They'll assume your parents hand you cash every week. Which as you said isnt the case, but thats the way it is man because up till a few years ago, pretty much anyone over 18 could claim the dole no matter if they had just lost a 100K+ a year job or had never done a days honest work in their lives.

Hope theres a bit of help there for ya!

    You're in a tough situation.

First off, visit your college's financial aid office and see what they suggest. Explain to them that if a solution isn't found, you will have to defer your next year of schooling and you want to avoid that.

Second, whatever happens, DO NOT go off your medication. Ask for a loan for the meds from your parents. Move in with a friend/aunt/anyone so that you can get a medical card if you have to.
