Mark 4's Limerick-Houston

    Folks,

    (Sorry if this has been discussed already)but,

    Are IE using the CAF Mark 4's on any departures at all between Limerick-Colbert and Houston?

    I much prefer these to the Class 22000's and want to avoid changing at Lmk junction at 6am so just wondering!

    The MArk 4 stock is only used on Dublin-Cork trains - you have to change at Limerick Junction!

    Sorry OP (and everyone else), couldn't resist it, but that's some train if it's going between Limerick and Houston.

    Maybe the train you're thinking of is going from Limerick to Heuston :D

    Indeed there are, but was looking at the 22000's and some of them seem to only be three carraige trains (seat booking only shows 3 carraiges at least) so would want to avoid those.
