Who are you and what do you do?

I'm new to making electronic music, and i'm new to this area of boards. As such this is the easiest way i can think of to catch up on who post here and what drives them.

I've only been messing around with electronic music for about a month now. I'm a singer at heart and did a few years in various bands, eventually got into electronic music (dnb,dubstep,breakbeat and some psytrance ) and recently started making it. I purchased a Korg Kaos Pad and Kaossilator, as the original plan was to have stuff that i could use to do live loops and effects ala DubFX and MCXander. Ended up moving pretty quickly into Fruity Loops, Tweakbench and Reason and now just do whatever i feel like.

I have my own stuff under the name of Shatterfreak, and also a project called Bassinners working on things with a friend of mine.

Short term goal is just to churn out tunes, learn about music and music production and hope that each song shows a bit more merit than the last. I'm on this boards to learn so if anybody has any advice to offer through any avenue, send it my way.

I like to give myself a challenge so i'm angling to play Life next year.:pac:
