    just looking at the wikipedia aer lingus page(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aer_Lingus) and the plane spotters one (http://www.planespotters.net/Product...&fleetStatus=1) and the aer lingus website (http://www.aerlingus.com/cgi-bin/obe...294&Category=0)

    My question/query/whatever is...

    All 3 pages say that there is different fleet sizes of the a320 fleet... The aer lingus page is out of date because it still says EI-CRK is there.

    I want to know what is correct and is this true (taken from the wikipdeia page)

    A320 are based in:

    20 based in Dublin,
    4 based in London Gatwick (additional aircraft to be based there),
    3 based in Belfast,
    3 based in Cork,
    2 based in London Heathrow
    this gives a total of 32
    Im not sure about the LHR because it is the only one that i wouldnt expect there to be planes based. If we take away these 2 planes then we will get 30 and then it will agree with all the lists of aircrafts regastrations.

    My question is: Is there 30 or 32 aircraft in the A320 fleet and which of the following is correct as of today (8/6/9) A total of 44 Aircraft in the fleet or 46 aircraft?

    thanks for your help

    EI currently have 6 A321 and 30 A320.
    A321= CPC-CPH
    A320=DEA-DET (-DED not used)
    =CVA-CVD
    =DVE-DVJ
    =EDP and EDS

    The basing of aircraft at airports is a misnomer as it refers to aircraft operating out of that airport. EI cycle their aircraft through all the airports. (Except for their newest A320, EI-DVJ, which has been almost exclusively fying out of Gatwick since April)

    The 2 aircraft in LHR are actually Dublin aircraft that arrive in on the last 2 flights and leave first thing in the morning.

    At the moment EI have 8 A330:
    A330-200=LAX/DAA/DUO
    A330-300=DUB/JFK/ORD/DUZ/EAV
    ....with another A330-300, EI-EDY,
    arriving next week bringing the total back to 45 aircraft
