Benefit and Privilege Test

    Hi there,

Just had a quick question about the benefit and privilege test which affects jobseekers allowance when living with parents.

I have heard that you have to bring 3 past payslips (or possibly 3 months of payslips, I'm not sure) when applying.

As both of my parents are public servants and have both been hit with extra income levies, pension levies etc, a payslip from March or April is in no way representative of their current income.

Does anyone know if they average out the three months or just take the current one into account?

Also what evidence do you need to bring to show what mortgage repayments are?

    Cheers,

    *P*
