MMA in munster?

    Hey I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any places to train in MMA around munster? I'm living in Thurles and all there is here is Kickboxing.

    There is Waterford MMA also. They train mon and wed at 7.30 and fri at 6.30, on the old kilmeaden road.

    That bebo page for top pro has to be updated as we moved into a bigger better gym yesterday, I'll throw up the details once i get the correct address and what not

    Despite half of you living in Waterford, Kilkenny is in Leinster ;)

    To the OP - There is a good MMA club in Waterford as already mentioned. Cork has a good BJJ club.

    There's a club in Blackpool that are running a beginner's MMA course at the moment.
    They also do classes in Muay Thai, Judo & Bjj as far as I know.

    A poster called Siamdragon usually posts up the info, do a search for him and I'm sure you'll find the details.

    I don't know of any other MMA classes which is a shame but there's loads of other martial arts about if you're interested.

    cheers charlie but why dye tink there isnt much mma in cork? it cant be lack of interest surely. theres plenty of top guys in individual styles but no1 seems interested in getin or teachin them altogether

    I wish I knew, I certainly don't think it's lack of interest. As you say there are lots of top guys in individual styles but I don't think there's anyone with experience in MMA.

    If there are any MMA practitioners looking to set up a club of their own, cork is an untapped resource!
