    This is great news for a very promising athlete. The physique of Claire is such that if she continues to get stronger and faster she could be going places.

    I was laughed out of here last year when I said we could have a Pole Vaulter at the Euro U23's;) We now have one and also a senior, Zoe Brown, having already competed at the Euro senior indoors. Irish pole vaulting on the up.

    Also Nikki Savage 3.30m and Thomas Houlihan 4.50 both qualified for Euro youths!

    This is good news. Zoe Brown also jumped a season's best of 3.90m at the weekend.
