    Hello,

Bit of a tricky topic, my wife has has breast corrective surgery, this surgery was to correct the original job which was not done quite right.

She has been doing some research and it appears that she may be able to claim the cost back or some of it, apparently if a doctors note is provided.

Does anyone know if this is possible ?

    Regards

    Colm

She will be able to claim tax back of 20% of the total cost (assuming you will pay enough tax to claim any back in 2009) However any claim can only be paid from January 2010 i.e. after the end of the current tax year.
