I failed management Accounting (AY207) at Christmas. Anyways I want to start doing some study now so I’m not under pressure come August. Anyone else repeating it? Have you got any tips? Has anyone here repeated it in the past; does the Autumn paper stay much the same as the Christmas paper?

    All advice welcome!

Not familiar with that subject but all too familiar with repeating . the papers stay generaly the same in my experience. The wording is usually a little different but you should not get any curve balls. However, I did experience one Professor, who shall remain nameless, that did in fact flip the questions around. My advice is to email your lecturer and compare past papers. Good Luck!

I'm repaeting it aswell. Just starting to study it now. I seem to have forgotten it all though! Grinds might be a help. Anyone know if they can be got for this subject?

Also anyone who has repeated this in the past, does the Autumn exam remain similar to the Christmas exam

You really must be desperate replying to your own post. You will need to study as the exam will be similar to every other Management exam, but you will fail again if you do not understand exactly what you are supposed to do. Your best bet for grinds is to go to the department and they may be able to put you in touch with some students in later years who do grinds.

    :D

Seriously though, put up a sign outside the reading room. There's always Accounting Masters students in there, they could help you out with grinds.
