Can anyone recommend a brand of hair dye that covers greys, lasts for a couple of months at least and doesn't contain any of the really bad dyes like PPD?

You can get hair dye's from health stores like Holland and Barrett for about €15. Here's a link to them: Permanent and semi-permanent .

You can also try Henna hair dyes - I know Lush sell them. I'm not sure about ingrediants though.
