    Heard a rumour that the Galway-Cong bus is to be cancelled. Anybody else hear this or got any details?

    Got a reply from Bus Eireann:

    "We have not received any notification that the 432 service will be cancelled.

    Following a detailed review of our network, the changes will be concentrated on services with very low levels of customer support. In making these changes we will look to minimise the impact on our customers. Changes to services will be introduced on a phased basis following conclusion of discussions with trade unions on June 19th 2009. We will inform the public well in advance of any changes to services in their area.



    As some of the proposed changes are still under active discussion, regrettably, it is not possible to disclose any further detail in respect of individual routes at this time."

    Yes or No? A bit of consultation with bus users would be nice.
