Pighead was once. And it was horrible. It was back in 07 and Pighead had started a thread ridiculing girls and the silly stuff that they say. This chick comes in and says that she never realised until this year that there was only 29 days February. Pighead struts into the thread and replies to her in a snide sneering tone:
    http://boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=54544076&postcount=22

Obviously this being boards, Pighead's mistake was pounced upon immediately and he was ridiculed and laughed at for the duration of the morning. It's such a horrible horrible feeling. Especially if you're not used to it.

Even the greatest minds get it wrong sometimes. Look at that poor bloke Icarus. A clever lad by all accounts, but one who made the schoolboy error of flying too close to the sun with his waxy bird feather wings. One minute he's flying to his freedom from the hellhole that is Crete, the next he's plummeting to his watery grave after the sun had melted his makeshift wings.

What was the last thing you were wrong about?

Why would you lie to us LadyE? Is it not true to say that you once thought the colour pink was horrible? That was so so wrong.

No way jose. Everybody knows that it is a fact that pink is a great colour. Opinion doesn't come into it. Liking the taste of chicken, leather trousers or girls with moustaches can all be put down to opinion but it is an indisputable fact that pink is a great colour. Face it babes, you were wrong.

Ahh but Icarus was not a clever bloke, he was just the son of the guy who made the wings, and had prior warning to the dangers of flying too close to a heat source with his waxy wings.

So not only was Icarus wrong to ignore the advice of a smart father, he also discovered that he was wrong about the water giving him a soft landing.

On reflection it is what caused the wax body reconstruction industry to collapse, although a certain Mr M. Jackson and his family did try to handidly revive the industry in the last twenty years, only to make the schoolboy error of moving to the warmer climes of the Middle East with his new waxy face .

I'd say I'm wrong about 50% of the time.
Then I learn from it and I don't make the same mistake twice.

I think the word you are looking for is not 'wrong' but 'mistaken'.

...as in the old reliable 'I thought that Iwas wrong once, but i was mistaken.'

With respect Kess, Pighead thinks that you're being overly harsh on the boy Icarus. He made one mistake in an otherwise glorious life and he gets labelled with the term "Numpty"

It's exactly the same kind of short term thinking that is rife in todays society. Poor old Patsy Curran, a great man and a wonderful teacher, who spent the guts of forty years helping kids understand algebra and Pi only to see it all washed away in a sea of hatred over a moment of madness. Then there's poor old Zidane, twenty years spent dazzling the world with his wonderful artistry on the pitch only for another moment of madness leading him to be now known as the mad fcuker who headbutted teh greasy Italian in the stomach.

When judging a persons life, it's probably wise to remember "Form is temporary, Class is permanent" Icarus, Patsy and Zinedine are all class in Pigheads book.

You may have something about the boy Icarus. He may not have performed well at the highest level of the game, but he did enough to have a song written about him.

As for double Z, was he really so wrong to headbutt an Italian? I think not, it seemed a very natural thing to do, and I think the double Z should be applauded for his sublime move.

Not only that, they also named the very sea which took his life after him. The Icarian Sea. They must have loved and respected old Icarus to have named a whole sea after him. When Pighead dies maybe they'll name a puddle after him. The Pighead Puddle they'll call it.

Indeed , just like that chap Gavrilo Princip , who shot Archduke Ferdinand which resulted in the first world war .He was also a tiddlywinks champion but people only remember him for that one silly moement.

To be fair, that was his finest moment.

You're wrong cheeseman. An act of violence can never be somebodies finest moment unless they're a boxer or a hired assassin. Zidane's finest moments all involved a football and those two magic feet of his.

If I don't make at least a few mistakes a day, then I'm not trying hard enough.

Ah yes, the old 2009 wrongness. Quite an embarrassing couple of days that was . Advisers told Pighead to lie low and it would all be forgotten about. And so it was, until now. Advice to the advisers: javaboy must be destroyed.

I will agree if he'd managed to work a football and both his feet into that headbutt it would have been even better

I'm wrong alot, and I make the same mistakes over and over. But who care's. I am currently quite inconsequential so it doesn't really matter.
