Help!! Im freaking out, what to do?

    hi, ehm well to begin i am a male, 21, and in a relationship that has potentialy hit the rocks but im not too sure!

    i have been with this girl for three months now. it was a tough decision as i am living in dublin for a short period which is now coming to an end. We are both from cork and attend college in cork.

    Any way at the weekend she mentioned a mutual friend who she kissed long before i started going out with her and for some reson i became short with her. however i apoligised for my shortness as i am madly in love with my girlfriend and trust her greatly. And i dont want to loose her over something petty ( there is no chance there is anything going on as the mutual friend is going out with her best friend now)
    so any way things straightened out and we resumed normal contact( this was all by phone as i am stayed in dublin for this weekend) she texts me that nigt saying she misses me and all that, but her texts were not in the same style ie. lacking smileyes, i know thats just a smalll thing but she ALWAYS uses them.

    then yesterday she didnt text all day( we are both mad for texting, her more than me) so i texted her saying hi, all i got back was a hi, which i replied to. l;ong story short she was with friends that she hasn seen in a while, so i left her to it. Now normally when she hits the town i get a message from her randomly during the night but Last night i got nothing!

    Am i just freaking over nothing, or is there potentially more? its driving me insane because i wont see her for another week.

    i did that yesterday but she was heading out so i said id let her off to enjoy her night!

    Dont over-analyse the situation too much or you will do your head in. I fyou want my opinion, I think she is trying to get back at you for getting short with her over her "mutual friend". Let her be for a while, trust me. When she sees your not haunting her with text msgs and being paranoid, she will start texting again and including smilies. My girlfriend is the same when when it comes to smilies, lol.
