I always was happy with the standard masks given out in most airsoft sites, with the mesh screen, but recently I played a game with someone with one of these
    http://www.safetytek.co.uk/shop/images/P/dragxplorefullface.jpg

I as really amazed at his better vision and comfort wearing it, and thought it had to be my next purchase. but I can't find anything like it for less the €150 online. does anyone else have one or know where to get one for €60 ish

Have you actually skirmished in one?
you realise how... hard it is to do physical exersise in a resperator? its REALLY not honey. it will wear you out fairly fast :P

Btw, is that suitably balistic rated? And chances of finding the wrap around masks for less than that price is near zero. And why cant you just wear a pair of shooting glasses?

having one of those is the only thing that is stopping me from doing a SAS style airsoft thing,i heard that they are a bas**rd to ware.

Well its pretty easy to just take the respirator out.

I don't need the respirator part and would be happy enough to remove or open it as long as my breathing does not contact the inside glass and fog it up.

Does any one have anything even like it?

By the looks of the photo you can't remove the respirator completely, but i may be wrong. if you can't at least take the filters out. Proper esp's (if thats what that is) are a b*****d to run in though mate. You might pass out if you're pushing hard, talk about making life hard for yourself :D

look breathing isn't the problem, I've a fine set of lungs and besides I can just puncture it if needs be, I just want the full face visor and something to keep my breath off of it. now does anyone now where I might get one...?

hon, SOLDIERS with a fine set of lungs pass out training in these things... you wont be any different, ive seen so many airsofters try to use respirators thinking its awesome... and fail...

you've never had to do wear a respirator have you? or work out in one... i did a bleep test in a s10 once.. it felt like running the london marathon with a straw to breethe through... one filled with foam...

+1 on that, gasmasks are not fun to run in. They look cool and all, but seriously, feck that. You can't breath properly and it feels like your head is stuck in one of those rubber hot water bottles. I'd rather spend the day getting repeatedly kicked in the crotch. Gives me shudders just thinking about the last time I tried exercising in a gas mask.

Sod it... go buy a gas mask. and use it.

I garuntee it will go in the kit pile after half an hour of gameplay... but its your call, what do we know?
