If you had your chance to go back one moment in your life , what would you do different to change it ? or would you just leave things the way they are?

I think I would have tried harder in my leaving cert....

Not a thing, it's all part of the ride

Wouldn't change much to be honest. I'd probably just go back to yesterday lunchtime and do the lotto. As orestes says, everything else has just been part of the ride :)

I did quite well out of ****ing up my leaving cert, probably better than if I'd taken my intended college path so it ain't that...

Probably wish I'd tried harder to keep a relationship going. Wish I'd kept up DJing more frequently for longer rather than letting it atrophy away.

Yes, there are things I wish had happened differently in my past (studied more, made mistakes in my private life). Having said that, I'm kinda happy with my life the way it's turned out and perhaps if I'd done things differently I might not be so happy.

Couple of things in my personal life I suppose.

Regrets are generally illogical. Your actions and resultant experiences define your personality, to regret your actions is to regret yourself.

Any reply that doesn't involve having more sex is wrong. Try harder in your leaving cert? Jesus H Christ

I agree, apart from the underlined part. Regret things you've done / not done. fair enough, but regret yourself? i dont see how.

I'd like to erase a lot of my ex's but if I did that then I wouldn't be as independent as I am now.

I'd also like one week back in school. I made most of my teachers life a misery, some of them deserved it & some of them didn't. I'd like to go back to really go to town on the ones I hated & be nicer to the ones that didn't deserve it. One teacher had to take time off due to a stress induced breakdown...I contributed to it & should have been nicer to her.

I would have taken more care when I was 14 and not have gotten a whole load of perspex dust in my eyes. That hurt.

    Sounds good to me.

I'd kick a guy I know squarely in the balls. Explaining that would require effort, so just go with me on this one..

It depends on your perspextive, at least you can still see.:pac:
    As for changing things.
Me, to many things to mention but hey sure I'm still here.

Ultimately a meaningless sentence given the human condition.

I regret several serious mistakes I made with friends I never intended to hurt, and I made some decisions that in hindsight, were less unselfish than I convinced myself.

I really regret not taking a job I was offered this time last year. But as has been said, there's no point in regrets, so I just suck up the consequences.

Yup your life is a ride that you just can't get out of, similar to how (Insert bannable infamous duo of words) is ride that you just can't get out of.

Study less perhaps, I needed far less points than I got. And played on more teams instead of studying!

Sure, what's done is done, but I'd love to meet the version of myself that had stayed in California, got that A1 in English in the LC, took that hot American from Pravda home, did that skydive in San Francisco, mastered guitar playing before throwing in the towel halfway through and, of course, got laid way, way more.

But hey. Plenty of time yet. ;)

    Jesus, I have several regrets.

I should have visited my cousin more. If I had have done this, he might still be with us today.

One regret that never changes is that I would have calmed my friend down before he got into his car and killed himself. I will never let that go.

I would try harder in my last relationship. I ended it prematurely because I was stubborn, however, this has built me as a person. Still, I ****ed up big time.

Mind you, if I died tonight I would think that I did the best I could. We all have to move on with our lives and learn from our mistakes. Mistakes build character. The important thing is to not get bogged down by them.

I would likely change one thing I said to a friend of mine though because I everytime I see her I feel like an assh0le.

The failures/mistakes that we have made in life are the exact things that made us who we are up to this point in our life.

Living in the past wastes your futures.

To steal a great phrase from a great story/play/film.

Get busy living or get busy dying.

I was in the wrong place at the wrong time when I was 16 years old and something bad hapened to me.

This affected a few peoples llives in a bad way and if I could go back I would change that situation.

If I had the ability to invent a time machine then that would be my time destination.

I'd have told my sociophobia, and my bossy elder brother, to f*ck off and leave me alone. I lost my teenage years to fear of social interaction, and i'm only making up for it now.

I wouldn't of changed my college course. Going back to do the same one again. Waster year and now I'll be a 1st year whilst my mates will all be 3rd years.
