42 inch vision monitor question?.

mate of mine is selling a reasonably priced 42 inch vision monitor,my question is could i use this as a tv?,it has pc inputs on the back.also i think it has a dvi input.
but theres no scarts or tv aerial connection on it.

what do yous think can it be used as a tv to work with my dreambox 500s and my digital cable box?,any help would be great thanks.

Im pretty sure you would need a PC Tuner throughput. For Sky and stuff with cable converter boxes you would just need a DVI adaptor and some way to get sound to speakers.

Complicated a bit.

just learned he has a box with it that allows it to be a tv,think its composite cables.could i connect my cable box and dreambox through the box?,its probaly a converter box.

Will work, assuming you have matching inputs/outputs on the dreambox.

Does the monitor have built in speakers?

only have scart connection on dreambox,yes the monitor has inbuilt speakers.

could i not connect the converter box to dreambox,then connect my digital cable box through the dreambox?.
