PSP grinding noise ?

hi, my psp has started making a severe grinding noise lately when loading a umd. I know its usual noises, some small humming here and there but this is loud as if its scraping . Ive been playing manhunt on it and it was fine but when i started playing it again the next day the noise started. Does anyone know whats happened…
