Should fit no problem. At worst it would be a tight fit and if its loose you could just add a layer of insulating tape.

My G36 mag clips broke aswell. If they can still hold the general shape of what they once were when put together then some tape fill hold them together if you use enough.

Todays lesson: tape, airsofters best friend!

Todays lesson: Drum mags are evil incarnate and should be burned incinerated in the core of a Tokamak reactor.

    Fixed that for you.

Drum mag aside.... because in real life, the g36 uses one, so stop griping...

If the tabs are broken on the mags. oh well, cut the rest off... Real german soldiers do, they only take up more space. Do you REALLY need them to clip together? this is airsoft, not lego.
As per original question, the dboys g36 model C mag WILL fit the JG, as JG take CA, TM, ARES, star, mag, and dboys g36 mags.

I often wondered about those tabs, they seemed a lot of hassle, and usually ended up in a hilariously useless 10 mag combo hanging out of the rifle, for the lols.

The argument goes a lot further than whether or not they fit in real life, more how they're used in games here and how they're perceived by a lot of players. There's a kind of gentlemen's agreement, among the majority of players, not to use them on anything smaller than an M249 para.

Anyway, that aside. The JG G36c is TM compatible, so any G36 mag made to the TM standard will fit, including all the ones Firekitten listed above. That's not to say they're any good though. Mechanically, the only ones I've seen lasting were the Star and Hero Arms ones, though the Hero Arms one is manual feed control only.

I did that with my sig551 once... 8 mags linked, one side through to the other, it was like a belt feed i tell you! hehe, utterly unskirmishable, was nearly as wide as it was long... crossbow skirmish :D

Dex:yes, but the mg36 uses one... as does the K variant the german paratroops and KSK use... so its irelevant for the 'gentlemans agreement' its still technically a support weapon with that addition... not all support guns are belt fed...

Highly recommend Star Preasure Sensor C-mag. Works very, very good. However, remember about two things:

    1. Proper BBs
    2. Good Hop-Up.

Otherwise you will suffer from double feeding.

to fix that issue, fit a Madbull sharkfin hop rubber... its designed to stop just that.

Star auto winders can be fussy though, I'd get a push button or sound activated model.

If I were that way inclined.
