Granite Window Cills

    Hi,

I have bought some granite window cills for my house but the block layer is worried they are not the right size. The window cills are 220mm deep. It is a reputable company but other suppliers cills are 250mm deep.

The blocklayer says they are not wide enough to sit on the insulation for support but he has come across them before and can pack the back with insulation to stabilise them. The supplier tells me they are a standard size, and used for both timeber frame and block houses.

Anyone know what size they should be and if these are a standard size?

    Thanks
