I have just had radio & chemo therapies and find myself fine in the mornings and wrecked by the afternoon. I work full time and am finding it tough going. I have also been advised I need to rest if Im tired to assist my recovery. I want to continue to work but am unable to do full days now any more, and this could continue for up to a year. Financially I cant afford a drop of afternoons either. Am I entitled to claim disability for the hours in the afternoon Im unable to work or will I have to go out on full disability which means I may never get back to work as I work in the HSE and when someone leaves they are not replaced any more or are re deployed to God knows where on their return.
