Oh it clearly wasn't a little mistake, forgetting your shades on a sunny day at the beach is a little mistake. Snorting cocaine and killing yourself is a big mistake.

No, she was famous because she was a model, rich, pretty, engaged to a man was rich, showed her body in public, took cocaine and died as a result.
Her charitable work was entirely incidental i.e. she wouldn't have done it unless she was A.) famous and b.) it would help her become more famous.

She only became famous for her "great heart" after she died. Up until then she was a spoilt socialite.

Well that would have been a genuine accident, for a start. Appearing all over the Sunday world headlines claiming you've kicked coke forever and turned your back on your days of unadulterated binging, and then overdosing less than a week later, is not exactly sympathy inducing. She knew she was playing with fire. It's very difficult to have sympathy for someone who willingly take this stuff, being fully aware of the dangers (or else being very ignorant) and comes out the wrong side of it.

Not only did she reveal herself to be a stupid girl, she also revealed herself as a crafty, media attention seeking little liar, on foot of her delarations mere days before she did herself over.
