Massive day for England. Wouldnt be surprised to see them win in fact. Cant see past SA in the other game. Scotland's bowling is too weak

Great innings by South Africa. Should be goodbye to Scotland but they will have left the tournament with what should be THE catch of the tournament by Carl Coetzer off Marc Boucher. Stunning one handed catch. By the way Coetzer is Scottish. Some fantastic hitting by AB De Villiers.

    Morgan dropped already.

he hasnt even been given a chance. exacatly why england will never win one of these tournaments they have no faith in their selections you cant win if your going to keep changing the side

Wright is looking pretty good, and they have settled the ship a bit, let's hope for a good game,

or just for Pakistan to win ;)...

A bit harsh on Eoin Morgan. He gets out once for england and gets dropped. Hope he doesn't get the Ed Joyce scapegoat treatment and get completely discarded.

Morgan is 12th man and is fielding for Shah at the moment and has fielded quite well.

Pakistan seem to be trying not to qualify for the super eights!

They are going to lose this game by a large distance. It means that Pakistan will have to beat the Netherlands by more than they lost to England. This is not a bad result for the Netherlands.

    2nd catch for Morgan

Pakistan have been dreadful in the field and now at the crease. The Dutch while watching this will also remember that we Ireland beat them in the last World Cup so they are there for the taking.

Thank you my friend - you made up my mind for me and I have just watched England cruise to an easy victory and beat Paddy Power for a welcome change!:)

England have definitely qualified for the super eights, because their net run rate is better than Pakistan and the Netherlands.

For Against For Against For Against NRR
    England 162 20 163 20 185 20 137 20 8.675 7.5 1.175
    Netherlands 163 20 162 20 ? ? ? ? 8.15 8.1 0.05
    Pakistan 137 20 185 20 ? ? ? ? 6.85 9.25 -2.4

Pakistan need to beat the Neterlands, and after the first innings of that game they will know the required margin of victory. I think they are going to need a big win.

Wow Mr De Villiers is turning out to be one hell of a star. His form over the last year in all forms of the game has been excelelent and lets not forget his excellent fielding. :)
Pakistan were poor with the bat, anybody who follows cricket knows afridi has been muck with the bat for years but Sky for some reason were hyping him up as something special. His innings was painful to watch.

England have gone from 16/1 to 7/1 on Paddy Powers.
