I have a Dell Inspiron 1720 with truelife screen.

Something dropped on it this morning, the glass itself on the screen isn't cracked but theres a crack like image on the screen now - i assume its damaged the internal parts of the screen.

Can this can be fixed? The Laptop cost me €1500 so i'd prefer not have to replace it !!

Yeah, you'll need a new screen. Plenty of companies out there that can replace it for you. Whatever you do don't go back to Dell. They'll fleece ya.
